In Texas our fireworks season is split up into two. The Christmas and New Year season is from December 20th thru January 1st at midnight. During that time frame you may be open 24 hours a day. The season lasts 13 days total

Our second season is June 24th thru July 4th at midnight. The season lasts 11 days total. You may be open 24 hours a day during this timeframe as well. Both seasons are set by the Texas legislature and are regulated by the State Fire Marshal's office, County and Local government.

To operate one of American Fireworks established retail stands, you just need to call our home office in Bastrop, Texas toll free at 1800 274-4912 at least 30 days prior to the selling periods. We will send you an application to operate a fireworks outlet and you are on your way to becoming an independent retailer and small business owner.
